Hey jack. No, large data feeds, remote or otherwise, should be fine -- large source and media files, on the other hand, may cause problems.

GME's back-end infrastructure is having a few hiccups right now; bear with us as we work to resolve these, and everything should be back to normal very soon.

Hi Jason, Does "resource files" include remote data feeds ?

Also today I've been getting "unable to save project" messages - my app complies and runs but (at least for the moment) the GME is not letting me save...

thanks, jack

More often than not, this error is triggered when large source files or resources (e.g. images, animations, or movies) are uploaded to the googlemashups service for testing or deploying. If these uploads don't complete within a specified time window, a dialog appears.

I would suggest doing everything you can to reduce your application's size -- namely, compressing or removing large resource files. This should help your compilation time significantly and prevent your testing attempts from timing out.

Finally, I will file a bug to have the 'server log' reference removed since there isn't a publicly-accessible log file. Thanks for catching this. And please let me know if you have any additional questions or continue to experience problems after compressing your application's resource files.

I've been getting the following error:

The called failed on the server, see server log for details.

What is this error mean? Where's the "server log"?
