Did you switch to script perspective (View > Script Editor)? You can
only execute DDL SQL statements there, no selects that would return a
resultset.
In the querying perspective (View > Query Browser) you can only execute
one SQL command at a time. We will expand this in the future, so you can
execute two selects at once and split the tabsheet automatically.
(Currently you have to select Split Tab Vertically/Horizontally) to do
the split)
Generally, all new GUI tools work with MySQL 4.0 and above.

Another thing, I seem to be getting "Commands out of sync; You can't run this
command now" 2014 error whilst trying to run a sql script.
Do these scripts only apply to really new versions of mysql? I can't even run
simple sql commands such as select * from table;
I can run sql in an orderinary tab sheet though,

Mark.
