I'm looking to create a site for a friend. The requirements are:
1. Mostly static content on the pages. 2. Admins will update some the content on a monthly basis. 3. Users can register for classes. Availability is limited.
The seems rather simple. I'm not sure if I need a content management framework, or a web framework. The questions I have revolve around the calendar. I'm no sure if I'd have to develop my own solution or if there is a module to provide this functionality.
Has anyone ever tried this with Pylons or any of the other content/web frameworks?
I know multiple people who have built this application. If I were in your shoes, I'd probably use Plone, but it's definitely not simple. I'll send you private email with the name of a guy who built this application professionally for UC Extension.
