I can see that my message was a little plain. The message appears twice or thrice a day. With "quite frecuently" I meant that before I had seen this error appearing just sporadicly. There are two applicacions that show it, and both are HL7 interfaces (they query the server each 30 seconds). The client interface is MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51. The server version is 4.1.8 and it was about a year ago when I migrated from 4.0.x. There is no new entry in the error log. Right now I'm not logging to the general log, but just to the binary. thanks matías

No. But maybe more if you let the list know what you're doing in particular :-) "quite frequently" in seconds? "interface application": name?, client interface (odbc/native/java...)?, version? "server" what version? the same version for one year? does the server log show special entries? ... regards armin.

Hi, I'm starting to get quite frecuently the error message "Lost connection to server during query", specialy from interface aplications. The server have been running very stable for a year. ¿Do you know what could be happening?
