We need, at least, your MySQL version, the app you're using to dump it
(mysqldump, phpmyadmin, whatever other), gzip is not a standard
windows format, are you using the server with Linux? If so, wrong
list! If you're using a web app to dump it, its probably a timeout of
the web server, not of the MySQL server, anyway, with the info on your
email, its almost impossible to really help you.
Post back with more info.
