Which tree (3.23, 4.0, 4.1) and what ChangeSet?

4.0 tree and changeset 1.1547.1.59.

Can you please send exact output? With wrong filename I get ERROR: Error reading packet from server: Could not find first log file name in binary log index file

Exact output. ./bin/mysqlbinlog: File 'master-bin.001' not found (Errcode:2).
