I think "P4 sync #none" will do exactly what you want to do. It will delete the files from your client and let Perforce know that the client does not have the file.

That'll depend on how else you are using the Perforce depot. If you're getting rid of all of your files, then using 'p4 sync #none' would do the trick. If you're only getting rid of a portion of your files, then it seems like either editing them out of your client view or setting up multiple clients would be the way to go.
