I did a rpm build for RH71

I configured the system before I started it and during update courier was (re)started, I will reinstall and start again

More later

Well, did you just do a source install, or did you build an rpm for redhat?

When building an rpm, you can do service courier start

and watch all the modules start up, and where the lag starts. I have a few seconds (like 20 the first time) that it was building the SSL cert....

I don't know, but I could assume that is highly possable. I am trying to use the security of courier. How do I check? If this is the problem, is there a fix?

Is that the point where it's building the SSl cert?

HI

I am finding that couriertcpd waits too long before starting courieresmtpd. Then when courieresmptd tries to write to the socket it is broken. What could cause couriertcpd to wait? When I do tcpdump, I see the SYN, SYN/ACK,ACK then wait and wait.... The client closes the connection FIN then courieresmtpd is called.

This problem is quite fatal for me.
