What's the largest number of files anyone has under Perforce control?
Just curious as to the scalability of the database handling....
Dunno, but I have 7000+ source files, and they're duplicated
through 4-6 major [codeline] branches. In addition, since I
checked in the histories from the SCCS system they came from,
I have 33,000 changes recorded against the database. (They're
checked in, one SCCS delta to a change. Boy, that was no
fun.)
I hear stories of someone with tens of thousands of files.
Unsure where, but...

We are in the planning phase of setting up a full-blown evaluation of
Perforce, which probably won't happen until next quarter, and I would
really like to know how well it scales before dedicating the necessary
resources.
We have over 45 source repositories, one of which has over 50,000 files
in 35,000 directories. This repository already has 38 release threads
(codelines, logical branches) and will add 10 to 15 new threads per year.
So I'm interested in performance data and war stories on Perforce
operation as well as issues relating migrating to Perforce.
