Hi all,

I'm still working on my maildrop configuration. I got the MySQL and quota stuff running. It delivers mail to the vmail user id. But for my other account, it says: "Cannot set my user or group id".

The vmail user is uid 2004:2004

The other account is 1002:20

Is there a minimum uid/gid setting in Maildrop or am I missing something?

You're probably missing the fact that a non-root process cannot change its own userid to any other userid in any version of Unix that existed since 1970.
