Is anyone else using locked clients (Accessible through the Options: line in the client specification)?

If you use the default (unlocked), anyone can modify or delete your client. If you set it to locked, then you can modify your specification, but you cannot delete it.

According to the documentation, I should be able to delete my own client even if I have it locked, but that doesn't seem to be working as expected.

I have a question into P4 tech support to resolve what is supposed to happen and whether this is a bug, but I would like to ask this list what your normal procedures are.

Do you use the 'locking' mechanism in your client specifications? If so, how do you handle the user deletion aspect? Do you expect them to modify the client spec first to unlock it before deleting it? That seems cumbersome and dangerous, I am uncomfortable promoting a policy where I have to educate all the users on the usage of the "Options" in the client spec.
