My GCC version is 4.1 I have tried firefox 2 already. But it is not working. May be I need to update my OS to fedora 7 .

I tried with firefox 2.0. Maybe some issue with version 1.5. Not sure. Can you try with 2.0 version, or you want to stick to 1.5 only. My OS is Fedora 7, same processor. And GCC version is 4.0.
