It could also be an encoding-view or charset-used. -How are they shown wrong? -2 chars or "?"

Maybe if you try these:

1. In your browser (IE, FIrefox), Go to Menu, find encoding (in View or similar) and change to UTF-8 or your local encoding

2. Edit config.php in your eventum /config directory, change default APP_CHARSET to your local charset.

we have a problem with the e-mails which are imported by eventum: the german umlauts are not correctly in the database & in the gui. The database is set up with general_ci.

Is this a bug in eventum or can we change something in our installation?

Umlauts show up fine here. So I guess it must be a database setup issue.

Harri.
