HI, I have installed Apache and PHP in my Win98SE environment. I am sure that
the Apache and PHP are good in condition since i can load some php web pages in
localhost after the starting of Apache server.
However, when i want to connect to mysql in a php programme (of course the
mysql-3.23.32-win has been installed already):
...
mysql_connect("localhost");
...
there is an error:
Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost'
(10061) in c:\phpweb/testmysql.php
Do you know why? Can you help me?
