The 5 queries per second per user is that based on the developer key
or on the ip address originating the querry. My application will be
installed on multiple machines. The 5 per second per user would be
plenty if it went off IP address, but would not be enough if it went
off developer key.
Thanks

Hi ccfrancis,
I have good news, you won't need to authenticate, but there is a limit
of 5 queries per second as noted
here:http://code.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=62881
. Does that seem like a limit that would work for you?
If you want to share details about your project, feel free to add it

I'm always interested in what people are working on and building with
this API.
Thank you,
Jeff

I would like to write a plug-in to my application that will allow the
user to search google.com/products through the Google base Data API. I
don't want to make the user log in to google since the only thing they
will do is search through the items. I know I have to use my developer
key on each request, but will google allow many requests per second on
this key without authentication.- Hide quoted text -
