Hi
I have a user that is trying to integrate a file from someone elses personal development branch that has been deleted there, into his own personal development branch - without success.
Does the deleted file need to be re added in the original location for this to be able to happen. The user does not want to do this as he doesn't want to change this other users branch at all. He also wants to integrate the file in order to keep the history of the file rather than just adding it into his own branch, which of course is another option.
I thought he should be able to identify the revision pre deletion and integrate this into his own branch. He uses P4Win, but realises this might be something he has to do on the command line. Is the command "p4 integ -d" the answer, if not could someone give me some hints for the gui and command line that might make this work.
Thanks
