Hello I installed ODBC on a Win2000, it gives this error:

Error Type: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005) Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 5 (MySQL).

System Error 5 is "access denied": if this was during installation, were you logged in as administrator?

Or as Miguel said: there may be a problem with the dll, try deleting it from \winnt\system32 and downloading MyODBC again. If you don't delete it, it might not be replaced when you try to install it again because the system sees it already has the same version installed and skips the file copy: most setup programs do this skipping, though I'm not 100% certain if it is so for ODBC driver setups too.
