Have you added the developer gadget to your home page yet?

With the developer gadget, you can make sure that you are not viewing a
cached version of your gadget.

I am using the tool here:http://www.google.com/webmasters/add.htmlto
generate the HTML to add an "Add to Google" button for my gadget. I am
hosting the gadget myself (it doesn't have wide appeal outside my
customers). Two questions:
1) On my Google hme page the gadget says "Information is temporarily
unavailable". I have refreshed it many times and it is not even
displaying the "edit" button, never mind my content. What am I doing
wrong?
2) Assuming I get this to work, is there a way to set the preferences
for each user at the time they install; i.e., can I just append a query
string to the URL of my gadget that specifies the preferences values?
What is that syntax?
Thanks,
