The XT processor does not yet support the key function. You might try saxon (available at http://saxon.sourceforge.net/#F6.5.1) -- I have had the best results using this processor.

newbie needs help
I'm trying to convert my valid docbook xml file : ("java com.jclark.xml.apps.Time book.xml" reports no errors) but "java com.jclark.xsl.sax.Driver book.xml ../docbook-xsl-1.50.0/fo/docbook.xsl book.fo" returns:
file:.../docbook-xsl-1.50.0/common/common.xsl:983: no such function: key
what am I doing wrong?
