Dear all,

I have a question about OMAP_FB driver (omapfb_main.c), I am trying to understand the behavior of page flipping and the code.

In omapfb_main.c, the variables fb_var_screeninfo.xoffset and fb_var_screeninfo.yoffset. The <LINUX-KERNEL>/include/linux/fb.h has comment, and it is "offset from virtual to visible resolution"

But I still don't understand it. Can anybody explian it?

BTW, in patched omapfb_main.c, I just can see the y_virtual is doubled for page flipping. However, I can't find the code that change the pointer to switch the start address of FB between 2 FBs.
