Sorry, I'm really confused. Which is the name of the ImageIO TIFF reader? If I disable com.sun.media.imageioimpl.plugins.tiff.TIFFImageReader I don't get any other chance.

That is the correct path. As an alternative you might check the vendor name
which starts with "Sun Microsystems" instead of the class name. [Message sent by forum member 'bpb' (bpb)]
