I have been trying a few different entries in syslogd.conf and I still can't get it to log to a different file. Do you have an example of what an entry in syslog.conf should look like?

mail.* /var/log/maillog

Wont that move all mail loging messages, including ones from postfix, to the new file? What I want to do is have postfix loging to one file, and courier logging to another.
