Sorry, I didn't realize which list I was sending to. You can try the mailing list package called "mailman" (http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/) to do mailing lists. Configure it as I had described below. This, btw, has nothing to do with courier-maildrop.

You can configure the mailing list so that only one person has permission to send, but that will not stop someone from sending a spoofed message with your From: address. What you should also do is configure the mailing list so that all messages must be approved before being sent out. Then when you send a message, log into the admin interface and manually approve the message.
