OK, I've asked on here and on the postfix newsgroups and have found no help. I have a clean install of courier-imap/pop3 but can not get new users to be able to login to the virtual domains. I have several users that I put in a year or more ago when I first setup this server. They work. All new ones do not. I have traced it down to the passwords that are created in the userdb file. I can copy/paste a password from a user that works into one that does not, and the failing user now works using that password. Yes, I have tried with and without all of the userdbpw options (nothing, -md5, etc.) no change. Yes I have stopped and restarted all services, no change. I have increased debug level, no help.

So, in light of the fact that I need something to work, is there a better pop3 server out there? I'm getting a bit desperate now!!
