Thanks for your suggestion. It was a problem in the mysqlcc.cfg. The settings for MainWindow where a little bit silly. Now, it works fine.

okay, i know the mysqlcc (control center) is not supported anymore. However, i am using it every day, and right now i am having trouble with it. When i start the mysqlcc on win xp, a button on task bar appears for the cc, but the main window does not open.

I have several database connections configured, and i am not sure if i use "show tables" or "show table status" on opening these connections. I think a help would be how to reset these settings.

I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mysqlcc 0.9.4. However, the problem still remains. Can anybody please give me some suggestions how to track down the problem and fix it?
