Dear all,

I am not an expert of IMAP but we are using it because of it's better feature set. We are facing a problem with MS clients and even our Web mail which is Java based.

Mails copied/moved from local folder to IMAP folder ( Drafts ) using MS Outlook and OE can not be fetched from it. When client IMAP log ( in OE ) was enabled I found this " PARSE ERROR 2148322516 " while fetching those particular copied/moved mails. Though other mails are viewd properly. Even mails moved from one IMAP folder to the other from the same client are seen properly. Problem is only for those mails which get copied/moved from Local folder to IMAP folder.

Further this problem is observed only with MS clients ! Netscape Messenger shows these type of mails properly.

Idea to do all this is to draft mails locally while offline and then get connected, copy/move all those drafted mails from local folder to IMAP folder and then use our custom Webmail interface to actually send these mails. This is reducing our online time which is very costly in this part of the world. We have to do this as we are not allowing SMTP access to our mobile users for fear of spams and getting our domain listed in black list.

Is this a typical MS problem ? Because MS is not following the standards ? Any solutions for this ? Users are obviously used to MS clients and are not willing to move to Messenger. I searched on MS site but no luck ! Can any body please help ?
