Perhaps u r using "pop3pw" in the userdb instead of systempw. Also what do logs
show?

dXNlcjFAdGVzdC1pbnRlcm4uZGUK decodes to 'use...@test-intern.de\n' and dGVzdAo= decodes to 'test\n'. Note the extra newlines. They should not be there. It seems your base64 encoding was not right. Otherwise you're on the right track, and this should work.

So its not Outlook and I have a system which can authenticate pop3 with userdb but not with smtp. Anyone an idea what could be wrong here?
