I have done a major update of this HOWTO, including a change in approach. This is a result of quite a bit of learning I've done since the initial version of the HOWTO. IMHO, the new approach is easier to install, allows for everything that the old version did, makes it possible to set up aliases for virtual users using .qmail files, and no longer requires real users to be in the userdb.

I've also added an explanation of how qmail handles incoming email for the many folks who were overwhelmed/confused when trying to learn that concept (as I was). It seems pretty straight forward now that I've learned it :)

I've given it a few test runs, and I would be grateful if some of you could give a read or even a test for errors, optimizations, clarification, etc.

Thanks for everyone who has given me feedback since the original version. I'm significantly happier with the new version (and new approach to the setup) and much of that is due to your comments.
