I think decisions like Olav's using the *CoC* to try to prevent abuse in bugzilla make a much better favor to the *CoC* than the board voting if it's official or not.

It is not one or the other. Olav has been making great efforts. It would be great if the board could come out with some kind of endorsement too, it need not be a commandment issued from on high, it could be even something as simple as "the board approves this message".

VERY IMPORTANT: what I think the board needs to do is to look at the reasons that made Murray create that *CoC* and put specific points in oiur agenda in order to improve what is wrong in our community.

There are various ways we can tackle the problem and I think even a gesture from the board would be good too.

(And congratulations Quim on your new affiliation and gainful employment.)
