could anyone please help me.

im using charset german1 in my win32-mysql but sorting is not german. it sorts a.., z..., ä.... insted of the correct way a..., ä..., z... in helpfile is a charset latin1_de named. but in my distribution (actually loaded) isn't such a conf-file.

now im thinking about creating an own conf-file - but sorry - i cant understand the manual.

is it necessary to create an own flile or did i something wrong? can i get the latin1_de.conf-file anywhere? could please anyone explain me the syntax of a conf-file?
