The 4.0.1 DLL has new functions than the 3.23.XX. I did a change for to have the same ordinal place. However, I did this using the current 3.23.46 order. Please can you send me a .DEF file generated from the DLL which you are application are using, or you can send me only for me (not to the list) the DLL itself zipped, in this way I can see the functions orders.
If I found different ordinal position of the 3.23.XX with 4.0.1 I will change this in the next release for to be compatible at least with the 3.23.XX functions.

We recently upgraded to MySQL 4.0.1 from MySQL 3.23.46. The server is a Dell 4400 Dual 933 processor running Win2000 SP2.
After the upgrade, the new LibMySQL.dll appears to be broken or not backwards compatible with the LibMySQL.dll 3.23.x releases. Is this supposed to be the case? The current iterations of the ZEOS library and MySQLFront use LibMySQL.dll, so I went back to an earlier release of LibMySQL.dll.
After using the older version of LibMySQL.dll, I have noticed that performance has been at least 5-10 times slower than before the upgrade. I have checked using MyODBC, and its performance is the same as before the upgrade (pretty good).
Can someone tell me if the new LibMySQL.dll is broken or is it intentionally not compatible with systems written to use the 3.23 release. Is there a reason the 3.23.x release of the DLL is soooo much slower accessing the newer server?
