As always, the first course of support should be to check the documentation, which for Perforce is conveniently located online: http://www.perforce.com/perforce/doc.022/manuals/p4guide/index.html
Here is the section on using forms:

The Perforce technotes and FAQs are also useful: http://www.perforce.com/perforce/technotes/index.html
Here's one on how to do a submit from a script: http://www.perforce.com/perforce/technotes/note006.html

Hello, I want to delete a file from the command line. After issuing the command "p4 delete file", I have to issue the command "p4 submit file". At this point, Notepad opens a file where I have to enter a change description.
Is there a way of avoiding this last step. I want to run a script that would delete a list of files and I do not want Notepad to run every single time.
Thanks Issam Alkawaf ialkawaf at solvision.net
