++ Personalized Homepage Skins

After much anticipation, skins was finally launched on the Personalized Homepage. Now you can select and apply a skin to your Personalized Homepage by clicking the "Select Theme" link on the right- hand side of the page. We launched six different themes today: [The Tea House, The Bus stop, Sweet Dreams, Seasonal Scape, The City, The Beach]. Skins areCSS-based, which makes it easy to create and release new themes quickly.

Will it be possible for users to use their own skins? It doesn't seem to be that difficult to do...modify the CSS and create the images for the different times of day, yes? I just don't see where one would be able to point to a specific skin residing somewhere other than google's server.
