Just upgraded one of our servers to 4.012 (from 4.04) as a test. It seems to be working fine but when I show processlist all of the hosts are listed as "LOCALHOST" instead of the proper remote host name. I do see the port numbers know, which has been added in this version, but the host names seem lost. The proper host names show up with netstat.

That's a bug introduced in 4.0.12. It's fixed already, when available, upgrade to 4.0.13.
