They don't make it very easy to find. It is a web form, not an email.

You will need to go through the normal help link... which eventually leads you to http://base.google.com/support/bin/request.py. Based of what you respond when answering their questions, you may or may not be provided with a form that will send an email to their support team.

Hi Dale

...and where did you send your support email to? I hope this could solve my problem too - but I didn't know that there is a support email address at Google?

Thanks, Marco

Hi Jeff,

I'm also sorry for not responding sooner. This problem was not an issue with the demo page. I had generated new authsub tokens and had done everything properly. The issue was with my personal account. I'd sent an email to the support folks and got a fairly quick response telling me that it was fixed now and that my account would work as expected. I'm not sure what the problem was... it wasn't ever explained to me. I hope it doesn't happen to me again.

thanks,

Dale

Hi Jeff S

Sorry for not answering so long. I tried your tip and asked for a new token, but I didn't work for me (same problem). I have to confess that I didn't try any longer then to find a solution, but I'll come back to that and will post it if I get it solved.

Hi Dale,

Marco didn't write back, so I'm not sure if this fixed his issue. After getting a new auth token on the demo page, I am now able to insert, update, and delete items. Was your issue just on the demo page? If not, were you using an old authsub token in your requests? In any case I think that this should be working now so please let me know if you are still getting 404s.

Thank you,

Jeff

Hi,

Did you ever get a response or solution on this? I started having the same issue yesterday and it continues today. I get the 404 error whenever i use the API and can easily duplicate it on the demo page.

thanks,

Dale

Hello I've been uploading items via the API for some time. Since about 1 month I receive a response error like the following:

--------------------------------------------- 404 Not Found Content-Type: application/xml Transfer-Encoding: chunked Cache-Control: private Date: Sun, 03 Jun 2007 11:38:13 GMT Server: GFE/1.3

<errors>

<error type="request" reason="Service not found"/> </errors>

---------------------------------------------

This error also appears when I use the Demo page
(http://www.google.com/base/api/demo/html/demo.html) and try to insert or delete a product (read is working), so I assume that it's not my application but a Google issue - or something is wrong with my user or token. Any similar experiences and solutions for that?
