I'm really sorry, but I have the same problem trying to connect to a MySQL 3.22.32 server, and I just tried what you wrote, changing the value of Max Join Size in the options tab for the server (change it to what ? 0 is not allowed, 1 does not work anyway), no success. I tried to delete connections created with an older version of MySQL CC, an re-create them, the same error about SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE, apparently a syntax error due to the way MySQL CC tries to connect...

And yes, I looked at the archives, and no, I have *not* found any answer to this question (I looked at the threads where the subject seemed significant). There are lots of answers regarding the 1104 error, which is a completely different thing... The changelogs on the MySQL CC pages do not say anything about dropping support for older servers (except for compilation), and there is only one line in an old changelog saying that connection to 3.22 servers has been *added*.

So my question is rather simple (check the correct answer, that's all I ask):

Is it possible to connect to a 3.22 server with MySQLCC 0.9.x ??? [ ] YES [ ] NO, go back to 0.8.9 [ ] Go and buy better corrective glasses, there are millions of answers to this question in the archives of the MySQL CC list
