The ground out to the horizon is a little Photoshop trick, as is the
sky. I export tow images out for photoshop - 1 w/ color, shadow and
no lines the other with line shadow and no color. Copy and paste the
white over the color, set the layer blending to multiply and reduce
the opacity. Next, remove the white sky from the color image and copy
the color layer. Then, using the clone stamp tool, you can copy a
section of the grass area on the bottom colored layer up to the
horizon, finally, merge the two colored layers.
The sky is just a stretched image placed behind the colored layer and
its opacity reduced to something I like for the view. Very simple
Photoshop tricks.
I hope that helps. I have some better examples of this trick in the
bag, but the client has not seen them yet, so I feel bad posting.
Check back Wednesday and I'll have them up for an example.
