Hi all,

I'm using courier 0.45.6 on a Debian Sarge system to host over 800 Domains. There are no problems handling aliases in all these domains, except for one. In this domain I'm not able to deliver mails with the corresponding dot-courier-file in /etc/courier/aliasdir. In detail: - the mailserver is mx1.getit.de - the domain I've problems with, is @getit.de - all other domains from our customers work fine.

Concrete: I send a mail to supp@getit.de. This is not a local user, but a file /etc/courier/aliasdir/.courier-getit-de-support with gars@getit.de within exists - and garstka is a local user. Then I receive the following error in /var/log/mail.log:

Aug 27 09:56:23 mx1 courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:217.194.225.67] Aug 27 09:56:23 mx1 courieresmtpd: error,relay=::ffff:217.194.225.67,from=<gars@getit.de>,to=<supp@getit.de>: 550 User unknown.

This problem exists for _ALL_ aliases made for the domain getit.de. So I'm sure the .courier-files are not the problem.

Please help - I've searched all night long for a solution and find nothing.

Thanks
