I have been using courier for about a year now and have been very satisfied with it. I wanted to use MYSQL for authentication but found that the MYSQL module was not installed originaly. I got the latest version of courier and recompiled it with MYSQL enabled then ran "make upgrade" Everything seemed to be OK but courier wouldn't start. Here is a section of my log file..
