Good question. I suppose we would want to keep the dtds out on the site if just to support older (broken?) tools and containers.

Yea, that's what I meant. Do you think we need a dtds and schema folders under the shale site, or just a dtds folder. With the DTD's loaded from the classpath we might not even need to publish them on the web site.

I have one XSD that I could publish for clay html namespace support. In the future, we might have a couple more for Clay's version of the core and html schema. The clay markup parser is not validating so these would only be needed for tool support.
