[a bunch of HTML stuff from which I was able to extract]
Hello everyone,
I am using maildrop in my qmail system. I want to auto-reply or
return the message to sender according to the spamc result in
/etc/maildroprc. I read man page of maildrop, it says that it could do
that. But how to do? I mean how should I write in /etc/maildroprc that
could make maildrop do both works?
First things first, please don't send HTML formatted messages to mailing
lists. Many people on the list may not be able to view it or may not
wish to go through the effort to view it.
Second, what you are proposing to do is a BAD idea. Since the sender
address on almost all spam (and viruses) is forged these days, bouncing
or replying to the spam will, at best, wind up bouncing or, at worst,
get sent to some third party. Even if the sender address is not forged,
by replying to it you have just verified that your e-mail address is
valid and active which will likely result in an increase in the spam
that you receive. In short: DON'T DO IT.
