We are experiencing many duplicate emails downloaded.

When a user get quite a few messages (100+) and some of them are bigger than 2 MB strange things start to happen.

The first messages will be downloaded and then some error or timeout is reached and the connection is dropped/broken. all the messages downloaded is not removed and again downloaded with the next attempt. These messages are marked with a ,S at the end of the file.

I'm using FC1 sendmail and courier pop3d. I need the maildir functionality. My box is a 1.7G Celeron box with 700MB RAM and 80GB drives.
