Yes they are supported, I have one working on a 3.1 stable box, it is a PnP card, but you have to turn PnP off on the card and manually give it an IRQ and I/O using the utility disk.
dmesg output:

I'm not sure the LinkSys are supported. Are they proporting to be NE2000 compatible?
