Did you send this to the wrong mailing list?
I have no idea what "fight" you're referring to. If you mean that there has been criticism of Clearcase here, well, that's because Clearcase is criticisable. That hardly strikes me as something to call a "fight".
I mean, I could even offer my opinion that Clearcase sucks, and that still isn't a "fight" -- it's just my opinion. Which, if asked to back up, I certainly could, with my own experiences with it.
I could also say that my opinion of Clearcase is that it's a tool designed for (and probably by) people whose job it is to spend all their time implementing, maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the company's build tool. It's perfect for that, since it requires so much of it.
And that, too, is still merely my opinion and not a "fight".
What's the beef?
