Tony has reported some issues using 4.3.0 on FC6 so I don't think it's just you or a x86_64 specific issue. I've had no issues on RHEL5 though which is based off of FC6 so I'm not sure where the problem lies. My only recommendation, and I realize this isn't always possible, is to move to CentOS5. It will be supported for much longer (FC6 is already obsoleted I believe...)

So, I'm trying to get Courier IMAP/Authlib to go on a Dual Core Opteron box running Fedora Core 6 but I've run into some trouble. Everything seems to compile fine, but I can't get logged in and futhermore I can't figure out what's wrong. Here's some information that will hopefully help:

1) The issue

+OK Hello there. user ectest +OK Password required. pass test123 -ERR Temporary problem, please try again later

2) /var/log/messages

Dec 6 11:32:49 ec10 kernel: authdaemond[21229]: segfault at 0000000000000000 rip 00002b4be2aeec40 rsp 00007fffffec0ee8 error 4

Which version of courier-authlib, and which authentication modules?

Courier Authlib 0.53 MySQL Authentication module
