Can Maildrop be used to broadcast a message to all users?  I use courier with virtual maildirs and wish to avoid sending an email to each user.

Write a script to mimic normal mail delivery: save a copy of each message in Maildir/tmp, then rename it to Maildir/new. You just have to be careful and make sure that the message file in each Maildir is owned by the correct uid and gid.
