Dear Sir/Madam

I have installed MySQL in c:\mysql direction on my Windows NT 5.0 machine and I
have created the my.ini file in c:\winnt, with options for basedir and datadir
but when I try to run MySQL, I get the following eror

Error 2003: Can't connect to MySQL Server on 'localhost' (10061)

I want to know why I get this error and how I can overcome it. I look forwad to
your reply.
