Hi Bonstio,

I believe the cache specifically ignores MP3 files for copyright reasons. (There are lots of legitimate uses for incorporating FLV and image files, but fewer for music.) So, your best bet is to continue using FLV for playing music.

Sorry that's not more helpful.

Best, Dan

Hi hi,

I've been trying recently (without success) to serve up mp3s from the Google Cache. Whereas other resources (images, flash content, javascript) all work fine, mp3 do not. I've tried various sizes inc little baby ones @ just a few Kb.

Is this a deliberate move to prevent mp3s wasting space in the cache? What if I wanted to include some mp3 in a gadget ad? For now, I've found that converting them to .flv media streams works OK but this is a pain and limits my choice of media players.

Any experience with this people? Thanks!
