I'm completely stumped. I began to learn SU a few weeks ago and had no trouble applying colour and textures to surfaces, but now cannot make it work. When I try, the cursor remains in the eyedropper mode and will actually sample colours from the model, but will not change into thebucketto apply them. This is true both for a new surface, if I draw a rectangle for instance, and for surfaces in a model which I drew previously. In that case, I can see colours and textures which I applied originally, but can't apply new ones. I can select faces just fine, and push-pull works, just notpaintbucket.

I've checked that face style is set to colours and textures, tried the B key instead of a mouse pick, restarted the program, and, finally, uninstalled and reinstalled SU. No change. I'm using Win XP and the same computer on which I originally had no SU problems. No change to the video card. Have looked at Open GL settings, tried changing them, but nothing seems to help.

So I figure it must be that I'm doing something really dumb and obvious. Anyone have ideas?
