the disk space suggests that something is being stored twice.
If you look in the archives there is some explanation on how to compute
the needed disk space (and why).
Also, considering that disk is really cheap, I wouldn't start to worry.
Only with disk data (in 5.1) will it ever really matter as if you can
currently afford enough RAM to have to consider how much disk space...
